Merit Scholorships:

The purpose of merit scholarships is to encourage and rewards excellence in education and to provide financial assistance to students.
Need Based Scholorships:
Need-based scholarships are financial awards given to students who demonstrate a significant financial need to cover the cost of their education. These scholarships are typically awarded based on a student’s family income, assets, and other financial resources.
Unlike merit scholarships, which are awarded based on a student’s achievements and potential, need-based
scholarships are awarded solely based on the student’s financial need.
Need-based scholarships can provide students with critical financial support for their education, making it possible
for them to attend college and achieve their academic and career goals.
