The Board of Intermediate Education, Karachi (BIEK) is the city’s official high school board for public education. Established in 1974, the Board is under the jurisdiction of the Sindh government. It has the power to organize, regulate, develop, and control Intermediate education.

The paper pattern for 2023?

- 47% Short Questions in all subjects except Math and Biology, 50% in Math and Biology.
- 33% Long Questions in all subjects except Math and Biology, 30% in Math and Biology.
The pre-Covid (2019) Syllabus would be followed, which includes the entire course.
