The National University of Medical Sciences (NUMS) was established in 2015 as public sector university with military affiliations. It was founded to promote and achieve excellence in advanced health education, research, and service delivery.
The university is backed up by an extensive network of 45 Military Hospitals; 19 Medical, Dental, and Nursing Colleges; and 13 Institutes, making it the country’s largest healthcare provider in terms of trajectory and patient volume. Despite being founded only 7 years ago, looking on, we can definitely see NUMS as one of the most in-demand universities in the future.
We at Chaajao (powered by IBAGRADS) have made our mark in the MDCAT market with 1,000+ students clearing the exam in 2022 only! With extensively-researched material, a multi-tiered testing system, and a quality-focused approach, we make sure that our future doctors receive the best possible education out there!
NUMS entry test is the same as the entry test of previous years that other medical universities conduct to evaluate the academic values of the students. Students are informed that the university conducts the test every year just after the final examination session of intermediate or FSC pre-medical program.
The Entry test will be held between August and October.
An important change is that only candidates having more than 60% Marks in intermediate can appear in the entry test. The passing criteria is 100 marks out of 150. In addition to the NUMS entry test, clearing the National MDCAT with at least 50% shall be mandatory for admission in the affiliated medical colleges of NUMS.
Candidates who want to apply for NUMS must have passed intermediate exams in pre Medical and equivalent.
NUMS test scores are only valid for the session in which you have appeared. Once you have appeared in NUMS you can apply for that particular session and admissions in universities only.
